Get Involved
Do you want to get involved with the efforts of HUGS in Uganda? There are a number of ways to join in or support our efforts in Uganda.
- Spread the Word - Read the information on our HUGS site then tell
all your friends. You can direct them to the website so they can do
the same.
(In this portion I want to write more about having pamphlets
sent to any interested party for distribution, help with any event
they want to put on in their area. )
- Attend HUGS Events - We will post
upcoming events on our website as well as on our group site on Facebook.
Be sure to check often to see what's going on.

blog or whatever I am supposed to write about what HUGS is currently
up to)
- Send a One Time Donation - Check the Priority Needs List (must be
redone) for essential items and current prices. You can choose whatever
fits your budget. We have also put together Prix Fixe Packages for
you to choose from. (Be sure to check with your employeer to see if
they have a matching donation program offered through your Human Resources
Department.)
- Visit Uganda - HUGS has annual trips planned for
all of those that are unable to travel with a local team. Please refer
to the "visit Uganda" page
of our site for details.

- Lead a Team - Again, refer to the "Visit Africa" page for
details on leading a team from your church, organization, or group
of friends. We can help you with training materials and pertinent information
about your trip.
- Join the board??? Maybe we could add a line about becoming a “member at large” so people can join our efforts when they feel compelled to do so.
