Kids Feeding Kids — The Bakery Bowl
This year's Kids Feeding Kids event (Mar. 27, 2010) was the most successful KFK event to date. Even in this down economy, our supporters really came through for the children and women's groups in Uganda, helping to raise 40% more money than we raised with the same event 2 years ago.
All the funds from this events will go towards the building of a bakery in western Uganda, which will be run by a local women's group, providing job training, a steady income, and food for the women and children of the village.
We are very close to having enough
money to break ground on the bakery.
