San Diego Area Businesses Support HUGS
May 1, 2004 - Contributing generously to the success of the first annual Helping Ugandans Grow Stronger, Inc. (HUGS) "Spring for the Children of Uganda" Gala, local California business owners in Coronado and San Diego donated many wonderful goods and services for auctions and opportunity drawings.
"We were touched by the many positive responses we received to our donation requests", said Victoria Gibson, President of HUGS. "Without the support of the local business community, we could not have raised the funding that is so desparately needed right now in Uganda."
